Do you want to stop the lectures and pushing to make friends that results in damaging self-confidence and isolating loneliness?
Valiant PEERS® is here to help!
This 16 week program is tailored for making and keeping friends
Our Certified Instructors know and understand the challenges neurodivergent young adults face. We work to empower identity, build skills, confidence and courage to bring about success in making and keeping friends and relationships. Unlike other Social Skills Programs, PEERS is proven to work.
PEERS® was developed for neurodivergent tweens, teens and young adults and for those with anxiety, depression, and other socioemotional challenges.
Research shows that parental support, instruction, and supervision significantly benefit the development of friendships. Parent/Social Coach groups are part of the program, and depending on program format will meet before, after or concurrently with the young adult groups.
The PEERS® Program was developed by psychologist and researcher Elizabeth Laugeson at UCLA's Semel Institute. Valiant PEERS® Program Providers are Certified through the UCLA Semel Institute.
